With that in mind I thought it would be a great day to start a new topic.
Friday finds will be things that we have found while browsing, either online or in-store, and want to share with you because we fell in love. This could cover any product relating to beauty, and who knows...I might even sneak a recipe or two in. Just don't tell Ashleigh ; )
1. Dirt. Luxe salt scrub | $45
Yes, this is ridiculously expensive. Keep in mind it's 9 ounces versus 6 ounces that other brands put out at this price point. Why do I love something so expensive that I could probably make myself? It.works.perfectly!
Due to digging and kneeling in the dirt on a consistent, if not daily basis, I have to exfoliate my arms and legs frequently. This scrub does the job, but is gentle enough to not irritate my skin due to the high quality ingredients. My favorite is lemon leaf, but if you want to go a little less earthy the cucumber fig is wonderful as well.
2. Vapour Organic Beauty Siren Lipstick | $24
This is everything that I want in a lipstick. It goes on like silk and feels like nothing is there once applied. The color is buildable and long lasting. There are 26 shades to choose from. The only thing I don't like is the flat top, but that's because I have a secret love affair with the traditional lipstick shape.
3. Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Makeup SPF 20 | $16
This is a new foundation from Neutrogena. It has moderate coverage with a very natural finish. Not too matte or shiny. It stays all day and is one of the few liquid foundations I can wear without turning shiny. It only has 8 shades, so if you're between shades I suggest buying two, one lighter and one darker, and blending them to get the right shade. The other downside is the formula is thick and the bottle does not have a pump so getting it out is a challenge.
That's it for the first Friday Finds. If you have any questions or finds of your own you'd like to share don't be afraid to comment.
