Well today is going to be our first joint post and it'll be about our individual Birchbox for the month of June 2014. We're going to try to do this every month since this is one we both subscribe to. As for our other subscription boxes we'll try to do separate posts on those so you can get the idea of what those boxes have to offer.

Ashleigh's Box!
To start off there was this little quiz by Jetblue that tells you where you should vacation and little tidbits about that town. I got San Francisco which is funny because I actually went there two years ago and absolutely loved it! This little pamphlet also give you a chance to win a round-trip travel certificate if you tweet a picture of your Birchbox!
Now on to the products!
Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Wash | Full Size 22.95
I LOVE the smell of this. That lemon smell is just so fresh and clean. Sadly it doesn't stick around on your skin at all. The wash itself wasn't anything to get excited about.
Claudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum | Full Size $62
Well, I would love to have something to say about this product but my sample was completely empty.
Gilchrist & Soames London Collection Body Lotion | Full Size $16
First off, this sample is huge! I love lotion (I have 6 or 7 on my desk at work) so this lotion has a lot to work against. It absorbs quickly and smells nice but it's not the most moisturizing lotion I've tried.
LAQA & Co. Sheer Lip Lube Pencil - Bees Knees | Full Size $18
Who doesn't love a jumbo lip pencil? They are so easy to use and travel with. This color is nice, a pale sheer peachy color that Amanda will probably hate! It's not terribly glossy and does seem to sink into the lines of the lip and cling to dead skin so make sure to exfoliate & prime your lips before using.
English Laundry Signature of Her | Full Size $90
This is my favorite product in this month's box. I love this smell, it's perfectly girly without being too overpowering and "Grandma" smelling. Sad to see how expensive it is because I have perfumes I like more with a more acceptable price tag.

A joint post, and you're all probably saying ABOUT TIME! It's funny to see Ashleigh's thoughts on the products we both received and how similar, or different they are.
I'll start with the three products we both got and then give my thoughts on the two products we did not share.
Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Wash | Full Size 22.95
I am VERY picky with what I put on my skin due to how sensitive it is. Ashleigh is right, this DOES smell amazing. It's not something I would buy due to the price point and it's effectiveness, but I will use the rest of the sample on mornings I need a little aromatherapy pick me up.

Unlike Ashleigh's there was product in my sample tube. Sadly, it was only enough for a day or two. This is a product that needs to be used for at least a week to determine anything about, it in my opinion anyway. Due to the price I don't think I'll jump in and take the risk, however I DO love this brand and it's products so if I don't find a product of this type that I am comfortable with I may eat my own words.

Coral...WHY BIRCHBOX WHY?! Coral is a very bad color for me. In VERY rare cases I can pull it off so I do have a few coral/peach toned products but in general I have to stay far away. If Ashleigh wants this, she can have it. If not it's going far, far, away from here.
Jasmine Seven Fresh Feet Wipes | Full Size $9.95
This may sound horrible to some, but I don't want my feet to be soft. The softer the skin on my feet is, the more painful it is to put on pointe shoes. Now this product is to cleanse and soften, so after a very long day I MIGHT use them, but since they're also for your hands I'll stick to using them there. They have a soft peppermint smell and I love the semi-good for you ingredients. Even a start at making products better for our bodies is progress.
Catherine Malandrino Signature Fragrance | Full Size $110
This is a perfect Summer fragrance. It's light and has fruit and floral notes. It makes me sad that my favorite fragrances that work well with my body chemistry are in the $80 to $150 price range. That being said, getting samples of them through Birchbox and wearing them VERY sparingly keep me from having to make such a large purchase.
