Top Two Tuesday - Bronzers

Sorry I took a break last week guys, things were just a little crazy. But I'm back this week to discuss my top two bronzers.

Now, I've only really started getting into bronzers in the last year or so, they scared me a little. Those images in my head of overly bronzed girls who look like they've rubbed dirt on their faces kept me from trying it. I got over it a little by watching lots of YouTube videos and slowly working them into my routine.

N.Y.C Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder in Sunny - $2.99 from Rite Aid

This was the first bronzer I tried and I think it's a good place to start. It's not too dark and it's easy to work with. With such a low price point if you don't like it, or just can't get the hang of it, it's not like you've spent a lot of money. Sadly, when I went to go find a link for you I found that this product may be discontinued. Hopefully they're just repackaging it. I bought mine at Target so check your local drugstores if you're interested.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Brozner - $30 from Ulta

Okay, I think we've established that I like to buy makeup with smells I like... THIS SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE! I'm not even kidding, it's kind of freaky/neat.... I smell this product and this is my reaction...

Anyway... besides the fact that it smells AMAZING, it's a great bronzer. Now I have it in the original shade but there is a Milk Chocolate version that is lighter. It's great for contouring since it's matte. (Never EVER contour with a shimmery bronzer!) It's a bit more expensive then my other favorite but well worth the price. I've been using this for a while and I've hardly made a dent in it because I'm so light handed with it.

Well check back in next week when I name my top two highlighters!

Till then,
<3 Ashleigh
