Sorry for the long hiatus... I've never pretended to be good at this blogging thing!
So welcome to the highlighter edition of....
Last time we went over their opposite, the bronzer. I always... ALWAYS use a light hand with highlighters. I get oily fast, so all that extra shimmer along with oil shine... yuck.
Let's get down to it!
Laura Gellar Beauty Baked Highlighter Duo - $42.50 from Ulta
I found this highlighter kind of by accident. I was looking for the Laura Gellar Baked Highlight in French Vanilla (the matte side) because I wanted a matte highlighter. I couldn't find just the single at my local Ulta but I did find this. The shimmer side is Portafina and it's beautiful too. I don't have a side I prefer over the other, but I'll admit I wind up using the matte side more often just because that's what I bought it for. I love the look swirling my brush around in both shades gives too!
MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle - $32 from MAC Cosmetics
I love this highlight because of the subtle glow it gives my skin. It's got a more peachy tone to it so it isn't so bright on the skin, it gives me a natural glow instead. Not too much shimmer either. Honestly this one is pretty simple to explain!
