The wait is over!
Sort of...
As I have mentioned before I am a huge Urban Decay fan. My skin is very sensitive so I have to be extremely careful of what cosmetics I use. Urban Decay is a brand that I have always been able to wear without any skin irritations. Not only is it a huge plus to have a reliable brand, but the cruelty free status and moderate price point make it that much better.
Rose tones have always worked well with my skin tone and eye color. I hate to admit it, as I am far from a fan of pink, but the truth hurts right?
The moment Naked 3 was announced Ashleigh and I both started to stalk Urban Decay's website and social media outlets. We sent multiple texts back and forth with updates and potential release dates. It was a texting frenzy for a few days as we watched and waited.
Finally Naked 3 was released exclusively on Urban Decay's website. Ashleigh and I were both at work at the time, but we did have everything ready to grab it when we each had a moment to do so.
When we went to order...we were greeted by this.
$52.00
SKU: 91900
OUT OF STOCK.
Notify me when it becomes available.
Needless to say we were not happy. We continued to stalk and wait for it to come back in stock on their website. While we waited Black Friday rolled around. I spoke to the manager at my local Ulta store about it. She informed me they would have it in store Mid-December. I shared the information with Ashleigh and all of you and continued the painful wait.
You can imagine my joy when I got an email from Urban Decay saying that Naked 3 was back in stock on their site. At the time both our cosmetic funds were bare and cobwebbed from all of the Black Friday shopping. I knew I could order it the following day, so I was not too worried about it. That is, until I went to order it the next day.
Once again, sold out. We just couldn't get a break!
The good news came from Facebook this week. Urban Decay announced they were pushing up the online release date on Sephora, Ulta, and Beauty.com. The original online date was set for December 9th, but they moved it up to December 6th. Funny, as Naked 3 was, and still is sold out on their site. Though there was more good news. Due to Ashleigh and I having status at Sephora we had $15 and $20 gift cards. Not only could we finally order Naked 3, but we could get it discounted!
As of 8:28 am on December 6th both Ashleigh and I have Naked 3 ordered with three day shipping from Sephora. After all the waiting, sold out notices, and impatience we are finally going to have our hands on it. At least, once they ship :)
Keep your eyes open for updates. Not only do we have the Naked 3 to review, but much, much more. There will also be our December subscription boxes and if all goes according to plan a video or two.
I promise Ashleigh will be back in action soon. Though it has been fun on my own, we want all of you to have two opinions on products. After all that's why we created this blog in the first place!
Talk to you soon!
~Amanda
